If depression lies within your head because of the way you handle the stresses of post WWII life, then happiness is there too. Learn to dedicate some time every day to deal with those stresses.
* Family/friends
* Nature
* Hobbies
* Community service
Don't result to all or nothing thinking. This is intimidating, daunting, and depressing. Individualize everything and when you complete one thing, enjoy the feeling of accomplishment before moving on to the next thing. Do this all the time.
